Recently, Jetour Auto officially revealed that the road-trip off-road SUV Jetour Shanhai T1 will add a four-wheel-drive version. The new model will make its debut at this year's Shanghai Auto Show and is planned to be officially launched in May this year. It is reported that the Jetour Shanhai T1 four-wheel-drive version will be equipped with three class-leading configurations: "front and rear three motors, a large 43.2kWh CATL battery, and Jetour XWD fully automatic intelligent four-wheel drive," with a CLTC pure electric range of up to 220 km, bringing a new choice for travel life with stronger performance and longer range.

Since its launch, the Jetour Shanhai T1 has become one of the most popular models in the boxy vehicle segment thanks to its high-appearance design, highly comfortable cabin, ability to run on either gasoline or electricity, and super strong off-road capability. Its rugged lines and square shape show the essence of hardcore SUV design, while the four-leaf-clover-shaped front headlights paired with the horizon light band combine the refined details of a luxury car. This high-appearance design also earned the model the Red Dot Design Award, known as the "Oscar" of the design world. In addition, class-leading spaciousness, 9-layer structured Shuyun seats, and million-level quiet and sun-protection standards also give this model ride comfort that is not inferior to luxury cars.

In terms of power, the Jetour Shanhai T1 four-wheel-drive version is equipped with Chery Kunpeng 1.5TD hybrid dedicated engine and a P1+P3+P4 three-motor layout. The vehicle's combined power is 435kW, with peak torque of 840N·m, delivering even stronger power output. Among them, the P1 motor is mainly responsible for power generation and assisting engine operation, the P3 motor drives the front wheels, and the P4 motor focuses on rear-wheel drive. The three motors have clear division of labor and each performs its own duties. Even when the battery is depleted, the four-wheel-drive performance remains strong, with abundant power at all times.

Strong power must also balance long range and low fuel consumption to meet the multi-scenario needs of daily urban commuting and outdoor travel. The Jetour Shanhai T1 four-wheel-drive version is equipped with a large 43.2kWh CATL battery, making it the only hybrid SUV under 200,000 yuan to use a large battery above 40 kWh. Its 220+km CLTC pure electric range makes it the ceiling of its class. At the same time, the model can also provide three power modes according to different vehicle speeds and road conditions. In urban road conditions, electricity is the main source, offering quick starts and greater economy. On highways, gasoline is the main source, providing strong power and lower fuel consumption. In off-road conditions, hybrid power is the main mode, with gasoline and electricity combined to make crossing mountains and seas easier.

In terms of off-road performance, the Jetour Shanhai T1 four-wheel-drive version is equipped with XWD fully automatic intelligent four-wheel drive, with intelligent switching between two-wheel drive and four-wheel drive without stopping. Paired with an electronically controlled dog-clutch differential lock, it can achieve 100% torque output to the rear axle wheels. Combined with advantages such as 200 mm high ground clearance, a 28° approach angle, and a 29° departure angle, it offers high passability across all road conditions. At the same time, the Jetour Shanhai T1 four-wheel-drive version also features Jetour Auto's exclusive off-road "X" mode, which can intelligently identify road conditions within 0.15s and automatically adjust to the corresponding driving mode, truly realizing the convenient experience of "you just press the accelerator, leave the rest to Jetour XWD," making it easy to enjoy the fun of "one-button off-roading."

High appearance and large space, more comfortable than a hardcore off-roader. Three motors, a large battery, and strong four-wheel drive, more capable in the wild than an urban SUV. The Jetour Shanhai T1 four-wheel-drive version will make its debut at the Shanghai Auto Show, once again bringing users a new four-wheel-drive choice for travel and off-roading.
