At the launch event, Jetour Auto repeatedly mentioned "breakthrough" and "technology." This time, the "engineering-minded guy" gave the answer of a "brand-new amphibious travel experience," which was simply astonishing!
The "Zongheng Architecture" on which Jetour Zongheng relies covers two exclusive powertrain systems, one exclusive off-road chassis, and six extreme off-road technologies, giving birth to a pioneering amphibious travel experience. Specifically, the two exclusive powertrain systems refer to the Kunpeng Super Hybrid CDM-0 and the Zongheng Dual Amphibious Golden Range Extender CEM-O. The former is equipped with a 2.0TD hybrid dedicated engine, with a maximum power of 155kW, peak torque of 340N·m, and thermal efficiency of up to 45.5%, matched with the world's first longitudinally mounted front-drive 2-speed DHT and an off-road dedicated 800V 4C dual-layer Shenxing battery. The latter is equipped with Chery's self-developed range extender with the world's highest thermal efficiency and intelligent vector four-motor system, enabling wheel-end torque of 18,000N·m. In addition, the system is also equipped with an 800V navigation thruster, making amphibious travel no longer a dream. For the battery, it adopts an off-road dedicated 800V 6C dual-layer Kirin battery.
It is worth mentioning that these two batteries deliver outstanding performance in the three core indicators of discharge rate, power, and charging rate. The entire series comes standard with 800V high-voltage fast charging, enabling an 80% charge in just 6-10 minutes. Safety protection is also well executed, with 1300MPA hot-formed steel protection and IP68 diving-grade waterproof performance, leaving no worries for off-road driving.
Jetour Zongheng's exclusive off-road chassis is the Zongheng Yuntai off-road chassis, which can achieve 150mm adjustment travel and a maximum ground clearance of 350mm. Integrated marine technology also brings it all-terrain off-road capability as well as first-class cabin travel relaxation. The fully active suspension it carries helps deliver four-wheel independent control, forward-looking preview, and suspension adjustment pre-adaptation capabilities, allowing Jetour Zongheng models to "open roads through mountains and sail boats through waters."
Zongheng Qiankun Intelligent Driving, Zongheng Tianxun Technology, Zongheng Shuyai Intelligent Oxygen Navigation, Zongheng Cangqiong Connectivity, Zongheng Inspiration Cockpit, and Zongheng Ark Technology are the six extreme off-road technologies of Jetour Zongheng.
