How should we cultivate talent suited to future industry needs in the AI era? On March 12, Geely Holding Group and Xinwei Technology jointly announced the launch of the "Cross-Era Leap Talent Cultivation Program," aimed at specially cultivating high school graduates with particular strengths and lofty dreams to become leaders who can face the future, transcend eras, and coexist with AI. Selected participants will be mentored by CEOs and scientific research leaders of technology companies under Geely Holding Group. In real industry scenarios, relying on Geely Holding Group's industrial accumulation and the "Three Campuses" educational ecosystem, they will enter four frontier fields—new energy, artificial intelligence, low-altitude flight, and low-orbit satellites—for learning and growth.
During the communication meeting, Li Shufu, Chairman of Geely Holding Group, pointed out: "Because there is a gap between the AI era's demand for talent and the supply cultivated by universities, the ability structure of university graduates and enterprises' talent needs have formed a 'scissors gap.' This is a contemporary challenge facing global higher education."
Facing educational transformation in the AI era, enterprises are closest to the "battlefield" of economic competition and industrial change, and understand best what kind of people will be needed tomorrow. To this end, Geely Talent Development Group and Xinwei Technology responded actively throughout the process, transforming industrial insights into systematic talent cultivation actions. Through building an innovative cultivation model combining "the AI era with the Three Campuses," they use cross-boundary campuses—seamlessly connecting teaching scenarios with work scenarios; cross-regional campuses—integrating global educational resources and expanding international perspectives; and cross-line campuses—achieving online-offline integration through Xinwei Technology's AI platform.

Li Shufu emphasized: "Geely has been running schools for nearly thirty years and has always firmly believed that entering campus is not for a diploma, but to better enter society. The talent cultivation model Geely wants to achieve is not 'one face for a thousand people,' but 'a thousand faces for a thousand people,' allowing young people's talent and passion to resonate with industry needs."

Lu Dan, CEO of Geely Talent Development Group and Chairman and President of Global Xinwei Technology Group, introduced the recruitment and cultivation plan in detail. He believes that Geely's Cross-Era Leap Talent Cultivation Program is not "enrollment" in the traditional sense, but a "talent discovery" aimed at high school graduates, focusing on finding "special talents" with extreme passion and outstanding potential in specific fields, whose "eyes shine." Through a scientific evaluation system, it selects those with lofty dreams, good judgment, strong willpower, and critical spirit and creative potential. Selected students will directly enter relevant positions in Geely's four core businesses—new energy, artificial intelligence, low-altitude flight, and low-orbit satellites—and will also be equipped with three mentors: "enterprise + academic + AI": CEOs and scientific research leaders from business segments will impart strategic vision and practical experience; full-time doctoral and professor teams will support academic training and degree course learning; and AI agent mentors from Xinwei Technology will provide 24-hour online learning support, ensuring that while obtaining academic qualifications, students also develop the ability to solve real problems. In addition, competitive salaries and full annual scholarships are provided to support their learning and growth.

This courage to explore the path for educational innovation comes from Geely's deep accumulation over thirty years of adhering to nonprofit education and investing more than ten billion. From its start in 1997 to today, Geely has cumulatively cultivated nearly 300,000 graduates and successfully opened a multi-level vocational talent cultivation channel from secondary and higher vocational education to applied undergraduate education and then to professional graduate education. Recently, it was also approved for the qualification to "independently recruit postdoctoral researchers," marking a new step in building a national-level platform for cultivating high-level innovative young talent.
Facing the wave of the AI era, Geely extends a sincere invitation to dream-filled young people around the world: Geely will fully open its industry and educational resources, use an innovative cultivation model integrating industry and education, provide real industrial scenarios and frontier technology practice platforms, and explore with young people the infinite possibilities of a new future.
