On the evening of January 3, Lei Jun's first livestream of the new year focused on the teardown process of the Xiaomi YU7, attracting widespread attention. As engineers carefully dismantled the vehicle, Lei Jun revealed Xiaomi Auto's report card for 2025.

The full-year delivery volume exceeded 410,000 units, surpassing the initial target of 300,000 units, and even after the target was raised to 350,000 units at the annual earnings conference, it was still overachieved.

"I am very satisfied with this result," Lei Jun said during the livestream. He also revealed the new target for 2026: full-year deliveries of 550,000 units.

Product Matrix

Currently, Xiaomi Auto has successfully launched two models. The Xiaomi SU7 sedan went on sale in March 2024, positioned as a mid-to-large-sized car, priced at 215,900-299,900 yuan. The Xiaomi YU7 SUV went on sale in June 2025.

Also a mid-to-large-sized SUV, priced at 253,500-329,900 yuan. It was the launch of the Xiaomi YU7 that drove the significant sales growth in 2025.

This SUV topped the mid-to-large-sized SUV sales rankings for four consecutive months from August to November 2025, with sales of 16,500 units in August, 22,400 units in September, and 33,700 units in both October and November.

According to Lei Jun on January 1, the Xiaomi YU7 had cumulatively delivered over 150,000 units within six months of launch, 2.3 times the sales of the Xiaomi SU7 over the same period.

Design Philosophy

During the livestream, Lei Jun and engineers responded for the first time to Xiaomi Auto's long-hood design. The engineer explained that the hood proportion is the soul of automotive design, and the long-hood design represents the aesthetic accumulation of a century of the automotive industry.

"We inherited the long-hood proportions of million-yuan luxury cars," Lei Jun added. "A good-looking car starts with good-looking surfaces, just like a person's figure—a good figure is the major premise."

He further pointed out that this design is not only aesthetically pleasing but also brings practical benefits: a larger front trunk space and higher safety redundancy.

Channel Development

Xiaomi Auto's sales and service network is expanding rapidly. As of the end of December 2025, there were 264 service outlets nationwide.

Covering 151 cities, Xiaomi Auto added 107 new stores in just four months from September to December.

During the livestream, Lei Jun revealed that Xiaomi Auto currently has 477 stores nationwide, covering 138 cities. In January 2026, the company plans to add 9 more stores to further expand coverage.

Future Plans

Looking ahead to 2026, Lei Jun admitted during the livestream that there will be no shortage of challenges. Xiaomi Auto will focus on three areas: continued investment in technology research and development, with at least 200 billion yuan invested over the next five years.

Increased investment in large models, and a commitment to building a full ecosystem experience of people, cars, and homes, pushing products to the extreme.

In 2025, Xiaomi Auto's Yizhuang factory received 130,000 visitors throughout the year. From products to channels, from technology to ecosystem, Xiaomi Auto's pace is accelerating.

Quick Commentary:

With the continuous expansion of its nationwide sales and service network, as well as the stable market performance of its two models, Xiaomi Auto has secured a place in China's new energy vehicle sector.

The annual delivery target of 550,000 units is both a challenge and an opportunity for Lei Jun and his team. Nearly 500 stores nationwide and more than 260 service outlets provide the foundational support for achieving this goal.
