On October 9, Li Auto officially announced that the 2026 Li i6 will officially go on sale on October 28, with deliveries starting in early November. The new car will arrive in stores on October 11 and make its debut at the Paris Motor Show on October 12.

Li Auto CEO Li Xiang summarized the new car's six major upgrades on social media.

ADB matrix headlights (the same as those on the Li MEGA), an electric front trunk (supporting tap and voice activation), dual zero-gravity front seats (150-degree recline), a 29-inch 6K panoramic front screen + a 21-inch 4K rear entertainment screen, a 96-kWh self-developed ultra-fast-charging large battery (CLTC range of 780 km), and the Qualcomm 8797 cockpit chip plus the self-developed Mach M100 chip.

Li Xiang particularly emphasized that the smart cockpit and advanced driver assistance capabilities are standard across the entire lineup, with no distinction between high and low trims. In terms of intelligent driving hardware, the new car is equipped with the Mach suite, including dual Mach M100 chips and 4 lidars (a main roof lidar + side and rear blind-spot-filling lidars).

In its first year on the market, the Li i6 accumulated more than 190,000 deliveries and ranked among the top three best-selling pure electric models priced above 200,000 yuan for 8 consecutive months.

The new car measures 4950/1935/1655 mm in length, width, and height, with a wheelbase of 3000 mm. Its exterior continues the family design, with the front bumper unified with the L9 and i9. Powertrain options include single-motor (250 kW) and dual-motor (150 kW + 250 kW) versions.

Quick comment:
For this facelift of the Li i6, the approach is very clear: bring features from the flagship models down to lower tiers. A 780 km range, dual zero-gravity seats, a 29-inch large screen, and the Mach M100 chip—everything that should be given has been given, and intelligent driving is standard across the lineup. With the foundation of 190,000 units sold in its first year, this upgrade has pushed its product strength up another notch. After the price is announced on October 28, it remains to be seen whether it can continue to hold steady in the top three among pure electric models above 200,000 yuan.
