On May 6, Haval officially released teaser images of the Haval Raptor fuel version. Compared with the Raptor Hi4 currently on sale, the exterior of the Raptor fuel version has been upgraded.

In terms of appearance, based on previously exposed regulatory filing images, the new car's front face will feature a vertical-slat grille, with rounded rectangular headlight clusters integrated with the grille, and a thick front bumper that looks full of ruggedness. The side profile still adopts a boxy shape, and the rounded rectangular taillights echo the front headlights, with an externally mounted spare tire. The new car's length, width, and height are 4800 (4680)/1950/1822 (1843) mm respectively, with a wheelbase of 2738 mm.

In terms of power, the new car will be equipped with a 2.0T engine model GW4N20A, with a maximum power of 175 kW. The transmission is expected to be a 9-speed wet dual-clutch gearbox, and a four-wheel-drive version will also be offered.
Dada Review: The Haval Raptor is the brand's first "boxy" model. The Hi4 hybrid has better fuel economy, but its price is higher than the brand's fuel models at the same level, which has limited some people's desire to buy. The front face of the Haval Raptor fuel version looks tougher, and the visual impact of the vertical-slat grille is not as strong as the current horizontal grille, so it is expected that a horizontal grille will be offered as an option. The Haval Raptor fuel version will enter the market at an affordable price, with the price range expected to be set within 150,000, and it will also offer a certain degree of off-road capability. Consumers who are used to fuel vehicles and like rugged-style SUVs now have a new choice.
