On June 16, SAIC Roewe released the official exterior images of its new mid-to-large sedan, the Roewe M7 DMH. The exterior of the new car was led by former Rolls-Royce designer Joseph Kaban, and it is expected to go on sale in the second half of this year, with a price roughly between 100,000 and 120,000 yuan.
In terms of appearance, the Roewe M7 DMH looks steady and imposing. The vertical waterfall-style grille occupies the vertical space of the front face, and the Vector Light Track Crystal Diamond daytime running lights continue the design language of the concept car, glowing evenly at night, while the lamp housing has a metallic luster, giving the front face extremely high recognizability. The side of the new car is equipped with a Glory Welcome Light Carpet, which brings an ultimate sense of prestige when lit. The taillight assembly of the new car adopts a through-type design, and the style of the light assembly echoes the front of the car, while the rear bumper looks very substantial. In terms of power, the Roewe M7 DMH is equipped with SAIC's fifth-generation DMH super hybrid technology, matched with a 1.5L hybrid dedicated engine. Its maximum power is 82kW, peak torque is 135N·m, the engine's thermal efficiency exceeds 43%, the motor's maximum power is 137kW, and the pure electric range is 150km.
