Recently, a set of road test spy photos of the Denza Z convertible version were exposed online. The new car will be equipped with China's first fully self-developed steer-by-wire system, paired with an intelligent magnetorheological body control system, e³, and Yun辇-M technology.

In terms of appearance, the new car overall continues the design language of the hardtop Denza Z. The "quantum pulse" front face has an aggressive look, and the large wind blades can provide downforce for the front wheels. The dual five-spoke forged wheels have a dynamic design, and the yellow brake calipers inside are very eye-catching. The rear of the new car is not equipped with an extra-large full-carbon-fiber rear wing, which is presumed to leave storage space for the soft-top convertible mechanism.

In terms of power, the new car will adopt China's first fully self-developed steer-by-wire system, canceling the traditional mechanical hard connection for steering, and will be equipped with cutting-edge technologies such as Yun辇-M, a full-wire-controlled chassis, and e³.

Dada Commentary: BYD's independently developed steer-by-wire system cancels the mechanical connection between the steering wheel and the wheels, using electronic signals to control steering. It can automatically adjust the steering ratio according to vehicle speed, and its response speed is faster than traditional mechanical steering. Driving flexibility is higher, and it can more effectively filter road bumps, greatly improving comfort. The Denza Z is positioned below the Yangwang U9, and the production version may be priced at around 300,000, while the soft-top convertible version may be priced at around 400,000.
