We learned from Dongfeng Honda officially that the new Dongfeng Honda HR-V will be officially launched on January 8. The new car will bring two all-new versions, Pro and Max, and the pricing will be lower than the current model. The official said it will bring surprises to consumers.

Judging from the released official images, the exterior of the new HR-V is consistent with the current model. The blacked-out honeycomb grille shows a sporty feel, and the LED through-type light bar adds a sense of technology. It is equipped with 18-inch petal wheels. The newly added Pro and Max versions will have exclusive exterior packages, and their styling will be sportier than the current model. The new car's length, width, and height are 4569/1840/1611mm respectively, with a wheelbase of 2655mm. The body dimensions are unchanged compared with the current model.

In terms of power, the new car will continue to use the 1.5T+CVT powertrain combination. The 1.5T engine has a maximum power of 134 kW and a maximum torque of 240 N·m.

Dada review: Honda's sales in China continued to decline in 2025, with cumulative sales from January to October of 527,740 units, a year-on-year decline of 20.5%. Both Dongfeng Honda and GAC Honda showed downward trends. A single model lineup and lagging new energy transformation are the main problems Honda faces in China. Dongfeng Honda's HR-V has already completed its mid-cycle facelift. This facelift mainly improves the configuration, and Honda's CONNECT 3.0 connected infotainment system will become standard. The Pro and Max versions will have more sporty packages on the exterior, and their configurations will also surpass the current model. The terminal discounted price of the current HR-V has dropped to as low as 109,900 yuan, and the pricing of the new model at launch may be even lower, but discounts in the early launch period may tighten, and sales are not expected to improve much.
