Dada Review: Changan Automobile's Blue Whale Super Hybrid technology underwent 6 years of research and development and was officially released on March 30, 2026. The Changan CS75PLUS Blue Whale Super Hybrid version is the first to feature this system and is Changan Automobile's main push model this year. Compared with Toyota's hybrid system, Changan Blue Whale Super Hybrid technology focuses on deep electric drive, emphasizes both oil and electricity, has large battery discharge, prioritizes electric drive in urban areas, has higher engine thermal efficiency, and lower urban fuel consumption. The Changan CS75PLUS Blue Whale Super Hybrid version has class-leading configuration and is priced about 40,000 cheaper than the same-class Toyota RAV4 Dual Engine. Blue Whale Super Hybrid technology will help Changan form a tripartite rivalry with BYD and Toyota on the hybrid track, and the models equipped with it will become a pragmatic choice for family SUVs.
