On April 20, Yijing Auto, jointly created by Dongfeng Motor and Huawei Qiankun, released the official exterior images of its first model. The brand's first model has been officially named Yijing X9. It is 5.3 meters long and has a wheelbase of 3.1 meters, and it will make its debut at the Huawei Qiankun Ecosystem Technology Conference opening on April 23.
In terms of exterior, the front face of the Yijing X9 will adopt split headlight groups, with the daytime running lights designed as a through-type light bar, and the horizontally placed headlight groups looking sharp and spirited. The side of the car adopts a two-tone color scheme, paired with hidden door handles and dense-spoke wheels, while the rear features a through-type taillight, and the full rear styling ensures trunk space.
In terms of power, the Yijing X9 will offer extended-range power and pure electric power. The pure electric version will be equipped with a 140kWh battery pack and have a CLTC range of 850 km. The extended-range version has a pure electric range of about 250 km and a combined range of 1200 km+.
Dada Review: The Yijing X9 is the brand's flagship-level SUV and also the brand's first mass-produced vehicle. It is marketed with Huawei's full-stack intelligent standard configuration as its selling point. Its 896-line dual-optical-path image-grade lidar (the highest mass-production specification in the world) has a detection range of 162 meters, and its recognition accuracy far exceeds that of 256-line lidar. The new car is equipped with the XMC digital chassis engine, and with dual-chamber air suspension, CDC damping, and rear-wheel steering, it delivers good performance in both handling and comfort. The announced presale price of the new car starts at 380,000 yuan, nearly 90,000 yuan cheaper than the similarly equipped AITO M9 (starting at 469,800 yuan), and nearly 30,000 yuan cheaper than the Li L9. It is a model with relatively high cost-effectiveness among flagship "9" series models, and annual sales of 20,000 to 30,000 units should not be a problem.
