In terms of appearance, the new car's front face features a large-mouth grille, the brand logo is finished in black, thick black trim on both sides creates a wild character, and exclusive fog lights are installed at the bottom. The new car features model-exclusive badges on the C-pillar and tailgate, comes standard with 17-inch wheels and all-terrain tires, and has yellow accents at both ends of the roof rails, which have a static load capacity of 363 kg. The new car's length, width, and height are 4870/1880/1735 mm respectively, with a wheelbase of 2745 mm.

In terms of the interior, the new car will be equipped with a 12.1-inch central control screen and a 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster, supporting dual-screen linkage and an exclusive interface, and offering wireless phone charging, Apple CarPlay, a Harman/Kardon audio system, and EyeSight driver assistance. The new car adds multiple gold accents and Wilderness Edition exclusive badges inside the cabin, giving it high recognizability both inside and out.

In terms of power, the 2.4T horizontally opposed engine in the Outback WILDERNESS Edition produces a maximum power of 194 kW and a maximum torque of 375 N·m. The transmission is matched with a CVT gearbox and Symmetrical All-Wheel Drive (Symmetrical AWD). The vehicle's minimum ground clearance is 240 mm, and it is equipped with adaptive dampers.

Dada commentary: The Subaru Outback was born in 1994 and was the world's first "lifted chassis touring crossover." After six generations of evolution, the fourth generation entered the Chinese market in 2009. The sixth-generation model only offers a 2.5-liter naturally aspirated version in China, while the model equipped with the 2.4T engine is sold only in North America. This time, it is being introduced into China through parallel import, and the price is not much different from that in North America. The Outback WILDERNESS Edition comes standard with Symmetrical All-Wheel Drive, and its stability in rain, snow, and unpaved road conditions far exceeds that of urban SUVs with on-demand four-wheel drive. Its unibody structure is more comfortable and more fuel-efficient than a true hardcore off-road vehicle. Subaru's entire lineup is purely imported, with no domestically produced parts supply, and there are few 4S dealerships in China. Later-stage repair parts are expensive and order cycles are long, making ownership costs higher than common SUVs on the market, and making it difficult to break through the "niche car" label.
