There are two protagonists: one is the Revuelto—Lamborghini's hybrid thousand-horsepower V12 supercar; the other is the Urus SE, which is opening its dynamic driving experience domestically for the first time—Lamborghini's first plug-in hybrid super SUV.

Today, I hope all of you can also feel my happiness, and double happiness at that. The two protagonists have already been introduced in detail in the introduction. Before experiencing the happiness together, I want to insert something interesting first—about the Urus SE.

Do you know how to make yourself look like you really understand this car? Try pronouncing the "E" in Urus SE as "i" (instead of "e"). Because I noticed that in Lamborghini's product videos, as well as in the pronunciation of Lamborghini staff, it is like this. Actually, I haven't had time to verify the specific reason. I guess it may come from Italian pronunciation. But none of that matters. In short, when you see this car, just imitate it like I do and pronounce it this way—it will make you look very authentic, as if you really know what you're talking about, and you can instantly show off in front of others, haha.

Now, let's quickly return to a man's moment of happiness. This time, at the Zhejiang International Circuit, the male lead arranged by Lamborghini is undoubtedly the Urus SE (forgive me for speaking bluntly, but the thousand-horsepower hybrid supercar Revuelto, which had already been arranged here for track test drives before, can only be reduced to the male second lead this time). After all, this is its first dynamic test drive in China. The test drive schedule was so tight that before I could figure out the specific arrangements, I had already been invited into the passenger seat of an Urus SE.

In the wide outer area of the circuit, some cones were simply placed on the watered, flat ground. After a series of tire screeches and being thrown left and right in the passenger seat, the instructor gave a brief explanation with a lot of chatter. In short, after quickly experiencing so much in the passenger seat of this Urus SE, the goal was for me to try to drive this SUV to achieve the drift-around-cones effect demonstrated by the instructor. Oh boy, that was brutal—driving around cones, in a tall and big SUV, and still having to kick the rear out and wiggle its butt around...
Not to mention, relying on my somewhat inadequate, half-baked driving skills—looking at the line, decisively stepping on it when initiating the drift, promptly lifting off when changing direction to pull the rear back, then smoothly applying throttle while coordinating with the steering to throw the rear out to the other side—after a few attempts, I actually managed to put on a somewhat convincing show with this Urus SE.

Of course, half the credit goes to this plug-in hybrid super SUV from Lamborghini. It is really powerful. The Urus SE is equipped with a 4L twin-turbo V8, and now it can achieve excellent coordination with the electric drive system. The combined output power of the entire plug-in hybrid system is as high as 588kW, and it can continuously provide 950Nm of combined torque in the 1750-5750r/min range. The 0-100km/h acceleration time is only 3.4s, the 0-200km/h acceleration is just 11.2s, and the top speed reaches 312km/h. This makes it the most powerful Urus model to date.

The 25.9kWh lithium-ion battery is located above the electronically controlled rear axle differential, and the electric motor is installed in the 8-speed automatic transmission. This SUV can achieve pure electric four-wheel drive. On the Urus SE, Lamborghini has adopted for the first time a completely new centrally mounted longitudinal electric drive torque vectoring system. Through the equipped electronically controlled hydraulic multi-plate clutch, continuously variable drive torque distribution can be carried out between the front and rear axles. The transfer case works in coordination with the new electronically controlled limited-slip differential on the rear axle, and can also enable the vehicle to achieve "on-demand" oversteer. This also explains why, even with my mediocre driving skills, I could still make this SUV perform beautiful continuous drifting maneuvers.

Due to the addition of the hybrid system, in addition to 6 driving modes, the Urus SE also has 4 newly added electric performance strategies to choose from, namely EV, Hybrid, Performance, and Recharge modes. EV mode is specially developed for city driving, and the pure electric top speed is limited to 130km/h. For street driving, you can also choose Hybrid mode.
Recharge mode can be used in Street, Sport, Track, and Snow driving modes, and this will gradually charge the battery to 80%. In this way, when you encounter heavy traffic or enter a quiet residential area, you can drive as much as possible in a clean, quiet pure electric manner. Performance mode can be selected in Road, Sport, Track, or Sand and Off-road driving modes. This is a high-performance mode that combines fuel power and electric motor power.

Lamborghini also arranged a brief but multi-terrain off-road venue experience to demonstrate that the Urus SE's excellent dynamic performance is not only on smooth roads, but also on rough roads. In any case, after all, this Lamborghini is still an SUV.
The air springs can lower the chassis by 15mm in Track mode, and now I used them to raise the chassis by 75mm. Previously, what you have seen more of should be the Urus fully displaying its handling and speed on the track and on the road. At this moment, this SUV is showing me its passability as much as possible.

The road conditions were not too difficult, but for Lamborghini owners, this still counts as a relatively extreme outdoor environment they can take this car into. After raising the chassis, the vehicle's various approach angles are completely sufficient to handle many off-road sections that look visually striking. This plug-in hybrid super SUV, while reducing carbon dioxide emissions, still maintains quite good practicality. Driving a plug-in hybrid Lamborghini up small hills and across small rivers on weekends is absolutely no problem.

As for my other source of happiness today, it counts as an old acquaintance. Less than half a year ago, I had just had close contact with it here, and it let me have a dream that made the hormones in my body spike. Yes, I am talking about the Lamborghini Revuelto. Driving the Revuelto again today on the same track feels like an old dream reappearing.

How did I evaluate this thousand-horsepower plug-in hybrid supercar that time? Oh, right—"Everyone participating in this Lamborghini track day can use Corsa (Track) mode—dynamics and power output reach their extremes, the hybrid system maximizes the role of the electric drive module in torque vectoring and four-wheel drive, and performance and engine sound are at their best—driving the Revuelto smoothly around the track lap after lap. Speed flies like electricity, and the experience is like a dream."
Yes, that's exactly it.
A man's favorite double happiness,
this time is passionately presented by Lamborghini.
