The Euro Car Body Conference is a top international summit in the field of vehicle bodies organized by the International Automotive Union, and has long been known as the "Oscar of car bodies," serving as a flagship exchange platform for global body innovation technologies. The BYD Seal was able to stand out in this highly competitive field precisely because of its unique CTB (Cell to Body) body-battery integration architecture.
This innovative design of the BYD Seal breaks the traditional design in which the CTP (Cell to Pack) battery pack and the body are relatively independent, integrating the battery upper cover with the vehicle floor to achieve functional reuse and lightweight construction, while also saving body space and improving passenger comfort. At the same time, the CTB architecture further reduces the vehicle's frontal area and lowers overall energy consumption, achieving a perfect integration of safety, performance, lightweight construction, and aesthetics.

Thanks to the CTB architecture and the Blade Battery, the Seal model received 5-star safety certifications in C-NCAP, E-NCAP, and A-NCAP crash tests, and ranked first among models tested under the 2021 version of C-NCAP with a comprehensive score rate of 88.6%.
Moreover, the BYD Seal also received an all-good G rating in the C-IASI safety test and passed with zero defects in both the driver-side 25% frontal offset crash condition and the side crash condition, which users care about most.
