On November 7, 2024, the XPeng P7+ launch event grandly opened in Guangzhou. This all-new pure electric sedan, which has attracted much industry attention, finally made its official debut and opened pre-sales amid widespread anticipation.

At the launch event, He Xiaopeng, Chairman and CEO of XPeng Motors, introduced in detail the highlights of the XPeng P7+. The model adopts a single-motor rear-wheel-drive layout across the lineup, and depending on the variant, is equipped with lithium iron phosphate battery packs ranging from 60.7 kWh to 76.3 kWh, with a CLTC range of up to 725 kilometers.

The XPeng P7+ offers a total of three variants: the Long Range Max, the Ultra Long Range Max, and the Limited Edition Max. Among them, the Long Range Max has a CLTC range of 615 kilometers, a 0-100 km/h acceleration time of 6.9 seconds, and is priced at 186,800 yuan; the Ultra Long Range Max has a CLTC range of up to 725 kilometers, a 0-100 km/h acceleration time of 5.9 seconds, and is priced at 198,800 yuan; the Limited Edition Max is limited to only 500 units, with a CLTC range of 700 kilometers, a 0-100 km/h acceleration time of 5.9 seconds, and is priced at 218,800 yuan.

In terms of intelligent features, the XPeng P7+ debuts the XPeng AI Tianji 5.4.0 intelligent driving system, equipped with dual Orin-X intelligent driving chips, 8-megapixel cameras, and HDR technology, enabling recognition of text, color, and motion capture, and achieving highway and urban intelligent assisted driving functions. Particularly noteworthy is that the XPeng P7+ is also the first model to come standard across the entire lineup with advanced AI intelligent driving, with no distinction between versions, and no need for optional equipment, fees, or subscriptions.

He Xiaopeng also revealed that the range and energy consumption of the XPeng P7+ both support continuous OTA upgrades. Through ongoing road testing and technical updates, the range of the XPeng P7+ Long Range Max and Ultra Long Range Max has already been increased to 615 kilometers and 725 kilometers respectively, and it has achieved an energy consumption level of 10 kilometers per kWh. This means that the XPeng P7+ will lead the industry into an era of 4 cents per kilometer, setting a new energy consumption benchmark for new energy vehicles.

In terms of configuration, the XPeng P7+ also performs quite impressively. All three variants come standard with the Snapdragon 8295 cockpit chip, a 15.6-inch central control screen, an 8-inch rear entertainment screen, and a 9-inch streaming media rearview mirror, further optimizing the intelligent driving experience. In addition, intelligent configurations such as a capacitive steering wheel and intelligent driving blue lights further enhance driving convenience and safety.

The launch of the XPeng P7+ marks another important breakthrough for XPeng Motors in the fields of new energy vehicles and intelligent driving. With the "posture of a coupe, the space of an SUV, and the comfort of an MPV," it is believed that the XPeng P7+ will set off a wave of enthusiasm for AI cars in the market and bring consumers a more intelligent and convenient travel experience.
