Brothers, the new Zeekr 001 has really come out swinging this time. It's not just a minor tweak—it's a complete overhaul of the foundation. Can you handle that?
How aggressive is it? Right out of the gate, they played their trump card: the entire lineup switches to a 900V platform!

Many people might not fully grasp what that means. The dual-motor version pushes horsepower up to 680 kW—it used to be 580.
Charging speed has also improved by a lot. Officially, they claim it can go from 10% to 80% in 7 minutes. That's genuinely fast—you could get out, stretch your legs, and it'd basically be charged...
On top of that, range reaches 810 km. Even though that's CLTC, with a discount it's still plenty usable.

As for the exterior, the changes aren't huge—it's the kind where you can't tell who's who unless the lights are on.
It's just a bit more detailed: the front grille was tweaked, and those two red triangular reflectors on the rear were removed, replaced with a decorative vent.

Honestly, I personally think removing that reflector looks better—the old one was indeed a bit superfluous.
Of course, the new model adds two colors, Mystic Purple and Starry Gray, both fairly mainstream on the market right now.
Personally, I think the interior is the real focus of this upgrade, especially the rear.

The rear seats now have powered leg rests and footrests, can recline to 125 degrees, plus ventilation and massage—isn't that basically a mobile sofa?
The front seats' massage points have also doubled, from 10 to 20. Looks like Zeekr wants to carve the word "comfort" into its bones.

On the center console, those few touch buttons have finally been switched back to physical ones—thank goodness, blind operation while driving is much easier now.

There's also a big upgrade: the intelligent driving system.
The entire lineup comes standard with Qianli Haohan H7, with lidar, and computing power jumps from the previous tens or five-hundred-something TOPS straight to 700 TOPS.
Now it's caught up with the top tier—definitely worth a thumbs up.
Speaking of which, I have to mention the existing owners.

Officially, old 001 models with lidar can theoretically be upgraded to the new intelligent driving system.
But how exactly, and how much it'll cost, is still up in the air. They say they'll do a "crowdfunding" to gauge interest—what do you all think?
But this move, uh... how should I put it? I feel like it's painting a pie in the sky. Old owners shouldn't get too excited just yet—wait and see what follows. Maybe there'll be a good solution.
The chassis is fully equipped too—electromagnetic suspension and air suspension that used to be high-trim only are now standard across the board.

And the air suspension has been upgraded to dual-chamber; supposedly you don't need to worry even at high altitudes.
Looking at competitors—Xpeng P7, IM L6, plus the Xiaomi SU7 and Luxeed S7 next door—all strong rivals.
The Zeekr 001 sold over three thousand units in August. Not exactly top-tier, but not lagging behind either.

And with this facelift, the product strength has genuinely improved—it's patched up almost all the previous shortcomings.
Now it all comes down to the price announcement on October 11th.
Brothers, what do you think of the new 001's upgrades? If the price is similar to the old model, does this car qualify as an absolute killer?
Also, let's chat in the comments—old owners, speak up too. Seeing the new model about to arrive, how does it feel?
