On May 26, GAC Trumpchi officially launched the Trumpchi Xiangwang M8 Kunlun series. As the brand's first model developed in deep cooperation with Huawei, it also adopts CATL Xiaoyao extended-range hybrid 3C battery technology and is positioned in the mid-to-large luxury MPV market. Three configuration versions were released: Pro Comfort Cabin (359,900 yuan), Max Luxury Cabin (379,900 yuan), and Ultra First Class Cabin (409,900 yuan). The new car's most notable technical feature is that the entire series comes standard with Huawei's Qiankun intelligent driving system, and it is equipped with a plug-in hybrid system composed of a 2.0T engine and a front-mounted single motor. Under CLTC standards, the pure electric range reaches 248 kilometers, the system's combined power is 300 kilowatts, and torque is 645 Nm, matched with a GMC 400 two-speed DHT transmission.
The exterior design adopts the brand's latest "Yipin Qilin" language. The front face features an oversized grille with chrome decoration, paired with 7-shaped LED headlight groups. A lidar is integrated into the roof, and 4D millimeter-wave radar is installed on the fenders. The vehicle's length, width, and height are 5217/1893/1823 mm, with a wheelbase of 3070 mm. It adopts a floating roof design and dual-side electric sliding doors, and offers four body color schemes. In terms of interior configuration, the wraparound cockpit is equipped with a 12.3-inch full LCD instrument panel and a 15.6-inch HarmonyOS central control screen, offering three interior color choices. The second row is equipped with zero-gravity seats featuring SPA massage functions.
As the second model launched in the Trumpchi Xiangwang series, the M8 Kunlun series reflects the brand's breakthrough in the high-end intelligent field. Its 44.5 kWh large-capacity battery pack and deep integration with Huawei's intelligent ecosystem mark the technological advancement of Chinese brands in the luxury MPV segment. The launch of this series further improves Trumpchi's product matrix and provides consumers with high-end mobility solutions that combine new energy and intelligence.
