SAIC Audi's new A7L has officially launched, and this update brings 7 configuration options. Compared with the previous 2024 model, the new car has basically no changes in exterior and interior design, and can be seen as a routine model-year update that maintains the existing product strength and pricing system. You should be fairly familiar with the way this car looks. The front face features Audi's signature large polygonal grille with a dot-matrix structure inside, paired with sharply styled blacked-out headlights and sizable side air intakes, giving the overall visual effect a sporty feel. The side lines are smooth, and the segmented waistline and five-spoke wheels make the body appear slender. At the rear, there is a full-width blacked-out taillight and a hidden exhaust design, with good recognizability. As a mid-to-large sedan, its dimensions are quite advantageous, with a vehicle length of over 5 meters and a wheelbase reaching 3026 mm, ensuring spacious interior room.

Stepping inside, it is still Audi's classic layout, with a three-spoke steering wheel, a fully digital instrument cluster paired with two embedded central control screens above and below, and the electronic gear shifter is also there. The overall tech atmosphere still holds up today and belongs to the practical and enduring type. In terms of configuration, the new A7L starts at a not-low level. The entry-level version already comes standard with practical features such as rear parking sensors and a camera, tire pressure display, auto hold and start-stop, front and rear parking sensors, frameless doors, an electric sensor tailgate, keyless entry and start, front power seats, automatic LED headlights, automatic wipers, and automatic front and rear air conditioning. For users who value basic comfort, convenience, and cost-effectiveness at the same time, the entry-level trim already has enough competitiveness, especially since frameless doors are a highlight among traditional luxury-brand gasoline cars at the same price.

For the powertrain, two choices are offered. The main version is the 45 TFSI, equipped with a high-power 2.0T engine; its 245 horsepower and 370 Nm output is completely sufficient for daily urban commuting and highway driving. If you pursue stronger power and driving quality, you can look at the 55 TFSI version, which uses a 3.0T V6 engine paired with a 48V mild hybrid system, with a maximum output of 340 horsepower and 500 Nm. It is worth noting that, except for the most entry-level model, all other versions are equipped with Audi's quattro all-wheel-drive system.

Overall, the core advantages of the new Audi A7L lie in its relatively distinctive design language, good space performance, a relatively high starting point for basic configuration, and the retention of the 3.0T V6 engine option on higher trims. If you are choosing a luxury-brand mid-to-large sedan within a budget range of more than 400,000 to over 600,000 yuan, have requirements for brand heritage and driving quality, or have a clear preference for a six-cylinder engine, then the A7L may be worth including in your comparison. It may not be the most cutting-edge in tech feel or the lowest in usage cost, but in the areas it emphasizes—such as driving quality, the practicality of its configuration, and the effortless power brought by the V6—it offers a substantial choice.
