On July 10, Onvo, a brand under NIO, officially opened pre-sales for its all-new model, the Onvo L90, which is planned for an official launch in the third quarter of this year. The new car offers two options: whole-vehicle purchase and battery leasing. The starting price for whole-vehicle purchase is 279,900 yuan, while the starting price for the battery leasing option is 193,900 yuan. As the second model from the Onvo brand after the L60, the L90 is built on NIO's NT3.0 platform. Its body dimensions are 5145mm/1998mm/1766mm in length, width, and height respectively, with a wheelbase of 3110mm. It offers both six-seat and seven-seat layouts and is positioned as a full-size flagship SUV, primarily aimed at family users.

The Onvo L90 adopts the family's design language. The front fascia features a large enclosed grille and sharply styled LED headlights. The air intakes on both sides of the front bumper are connected by a black continuous trim strip, with a trapezoidal air intake below, enhancing visual width and a sporty feel. The side profile features clean and smooth lines, equipped with hidden door handles, and silver trim above the window frames. The rear design is simple and upright, with slim taillight clusters that echo the front daytime running lights, along with a roof spoiler and a hidden rear wiper. At the same time, the new car will offer five body colors: Yunxi Gold, Yanji Brown, Chenhui Silver, Jingyue Black, and Xuefeng White.

The interior adopts a wraparound cockpit layout throughout, offering four thematic styles and combining multiple materials. The center console is equipped with a 17.2-inch 3K floating central control screen and a 35-inch AR-HUD head-up display, powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8295P cockpit chip and the NT.Coconut 2.0.0 vehicle system. The steering wheel features a four-spoke oval design, and the gear shifter is column-mounted. In the six-seat version, all three rows of seats support electric adjustment and are equipped with zero-gravity seats, a rear ceiling-mounted screen, and an onboard refrigerator.

In terms of power, both rear-wheel-drive and all-wheel-drive versions are offered. The rear-wheel-drive version is equipped with a silicon carbide motor with a maximum power of 340 kW; the all-wheel-drive version adds a front-axle induction asynchronous motor with a maximum power of 100 kW, achieving a combined power of 440 kW. All versions come standard with an 85 kWh battery pack. The CLTC range is 605 km for the rear-wheel-drive version and 570 km for the all-wheel-drive version.

The Onvo brand was launched by NIO in May 2024, focusing on the mainstream family car market in the 200,000-300,000 yuan range. Its first model, the L60, was launched in September last year. As the brand's flagship model, the Onvo L90 enters the 300,000 yuan-class all-electric SUV market, and its final pricing and market performance will have a significant impact on NIO's overall sales.
