The Changan Qiyuan A06 under Changan Automobile was officially launched on November 9, introducing a total of 8 configurations across two powertrain forms, pure electric and extended-range, with an official guide price range of 109,900 yuan to 149,900 yuan. As the first model in the Qiyuan series built on the SDA global pure electric architecture, its market positioning is a mid-to-large sedan.
In terms of exterior appearance, this car adopts a design language called "Fuguang Aesthetics," presenting an overall low-slung and rounded shape. Its front face features a closed grille, paired with a full-width LED headlight assembly, enhancing the visual width of the front end. Moving to the side of the body, the smooth fastback lines and frameless doors are notable features, and combined with low-drag designs such as semi-hidden mechanical door handles, its drag coefficient is controlled at 0.205Cd. The rear of the vehicle is also equipped with full-width taillights, echoing the front design. In terms of body dimensions, the Changan Qiyuan A06 measures 4885/1916/1496 mm in length, width, and height respectively, with a wheelbase of 2922 mm. The new car offers six body colors including Songying Black and Yunfan White.
Stepping into the interior, the wraparound cockpit layout brings an open visual experience. In terms of materials, the area above the waistline extensively uses soft-touch wrapping materials. The vehicle comes standard with a 10.17-inch LCD instrument panel and a 15.6-inch floating central control screen with a resolution of 2.5K. The infotainment system is equipped with a 4-nanometer high-computing-power chip and integrates dual AI large models, and its voice control system supports four-zone recognition and continuous dialogue functions.
At the configuration level, depending on the model, the seats offer ventilation, heating, and massage functions, and the rear seats of higher-trim models also support angle adjustment. Some models are also equipped with an in-car hot and cold refrigerator, dual front wireless fast charging, and other features. In terms of intelligent driving assistance, the new car offers two solutions: vision-based and lidar-based. The vision version relies on cameras and radar to achieve L2-level assisted driving and intelligent parking functions; the lidar version supports higher-level functions such as urban navigation-assisted driving by adding lidar and higher-computing-power chips.
The powertrain system is the highlight of this car, offering both pure electric and extended-range options. The pure electric version is built on an 800V high-voltage platform and supports 6C fast charging technology; the official claim is that charging from 30% to 80% takes as fast as 9 minutes. This version offers electric motors with two power outputs of 120 kW and 210 kW, corresponding to CLTC range figures of 510 km and 630 km respectively. The extended-range version is equipped with a 1.5L range extender with a maximum power of 72 kW and a 120 kW drive motor, matched with a 28.39 kWh battery pack; its CLTC pure electric range is 240 km, and the combined range with a full tank and full charge is claimed to exceed 2120 km.
