On December 3, the new Blue Electric E5 PLUS was officially launched, and the official calls this version the third-generation model. The new car comes in two configurations, both with a guide price of 139,800 yuan and a limited-time benefit price of 119,800 yuan. Positioned as a plug-in hybrid mid-size SUV, this facelift mainly focuses on adjustments to range, equipment, and intelligent features.
In terms of exterior, the new car continues the design of a closed front face and continuous light strip, and adds the "Jinghai Sand" body color and exclusive "Moon Rhythm Wheel" wheels as options. The body dimensions remain unchanged, with length, width, and height of 4760/1865/1710 mm respectively and a wheelbase of 2785 mm, continuing to offer both 5-seat and 7-seat layouts.
Inside, the full digital instrument cluster and 15.6-inch floating central control screen are still equipped, the gearshift adopts a column shifter design, and the secondary instrument panel area is arranged with a wireless phone charging pad and an open storage space. One of the highlights of this upgrade is the adoption of the Doubao cockpit large model, with improved response speed and naturalness of voice interaction, supporting continuous commands and fuzzy semantic recognition. In addition, APA automatic parking and lever lane change functions have also been added, and some models also offer a second-row entertainment screen and Dolby audio system.
For the powertrain, it continues to use a 1.5-liter plug-in hybrid system, with a maximum engine power of 70 kW, and the electric motor offers two versions of 130 kW and 160 kW, matched with an E-CVT gearbox, and a new full-time four-wheel-drive model is also available. The pure electric range has been increased from the previous maximum of 165 km to 230 km (CLTC condition). Some configurations are equipped with the FSD adaptive suspension system, which can automatically adjust the softness and firmness of the suspension.
The manufacturer also offers two optional packages, the "Cinema Comfort Camping Package" and the "Panoramic Flagship Camping Package," including outdoor expansion functions such as a hidden projector, a pull-down screen, and a built-in induction cooker.
