On December 16, 2025, the NIO brand officially launched the limited ET5 and ET5T "Far Sky" package models. Both models offer two sales schemes: full vehicle purchase and battery rental. The ET5 full vehicle purchase price is 313,000 yuan, with a battery rental price of 205,000 yuan; the ET5T full vehicle purchase price is 316,000 yuan, with a battery rental price of 208,000 yuan. A total of 555 units of this limited edition will be released, with the limited-time sales period ending on January 31, 2026.

Externally, the new car continues the existing design overall, with the main changes being the adoption of an exclusive "Far Sky Purple" paint color, same-color decal decorations added to the body sides, and special pattern stickers added at the C-pillar triangular windows. As the wagon version, the ET5T has a fuller rear profile to enhance practical cargo space. Both models come standard with 20-inch five-spoke flower-race wheels and exclusive valve stem caps in the same color as the paint. In addition, the ET5T model is additionally equipped with roof rack rails, crossbars, and a same-color roof box to further expand carrying capacity.

Inside, the new car offers two interior themes: Pale Vine Purple and Electric Drive Purple, and comes standard across the range with a comfort package including steering wheel heating and front and rear seat heating. For the infotainment system, it is equipped with NIO's third-generation intelligent system NT.Cedar S Snow Cedar, featuring a 15.6-inch central control screen, a 10.2-inch instrument panel, and a HUD head-up display.

For the powertrain, it continues to adopt a front and rear dual-motor layout, with a combined power of 490 horsepower and peak torque of 700 N·m. Users can choose between 75 kWh and 100 kWh battery packs. In terms of chassis configuration, the new car still comes standard with the CDC dynamic suspension damping control system and offers multiple driving modes including daily and track modes.
